Planning and Coordination
 
  • Oversee the Planning, Coordination and Research Department activities.
  • Enhance the department in coordination and Research initiatives.
  • Prepare and submit to the DG and Minister the annual work plan and long term plan related to Somaliland water sector
  • Coordinator all WASH sector actors at local, national and international levels.
  • Prepare and organize the Somaliland WASH coordination meetings
  • Initiate and outline research programs and projects related to ground and surface water related issues including meteorology
  • Prepare, update, LoA for UN/INGOs and submit to the DG and the Minister.
  • Register and evaluate all WASH stakeholders, professionals and Firms.
  • Prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Evaluation report.
  • Support and, supervise and assign the day-to-day tasks and responsibilities of the Department’s staff
  • Propose the recruitment of Departmental personnel and conduct annual performance evaluations and forward to DG.
  • Prepare the Planning, Coordination and Research Department annual Budget.
  • Manage and monitor the Department’s annual operating and developmental budget to avoid budget overruns.
  • Prepare and plan for drought emergency interventions and early warning.
  • Ensure accountability, transparency and integrity.
  • Motivate staff and lead by example.
  • Prepare the structure of the department including the sections and units with their TOR.
