Ground Water
- Overseeing the urban, rural and pre-urban water supply management and development
- Coordinate Hygiene sanitation training delivery
- Management of private water agencies management and governance enforcement
- Management of private water bottling company’s governance and regulations
- Responsible for environmental risk, safety assessment and environmental impact mitigation/regulation
- Management of emergency drought urban and rural water supply (Water tracking and Reporting)
- Water quality assurance administration, regulation of all national water supplies private and public
- Support design, planning, implantation and monitoring hygiene promotion for behavior change using C4D approaches
- Strengthening capacity of S & H working group for scale up and sustainability of ODF communities
- Lead the water source chlorination between the MOWRD and partners
- Analysis on the building blocks for sustainable service delivery in Somaliland
- National water tariff settings and management
- National water supply performance, finance and production audit
- National water Infrastructure asset registration and management
- Strengthen water sustainability
- Develop and implement investment plan/master plan for Somaliland including urban and rural areas to address long term supply needs
- Community water management and training & agreements for new water supply systems Upgrade water supply networks of the urban and pre-urban locations with pro-poor strategies
